The Arizona Diamondbacks hired Billy Ryan as assistant general manager. Ryan was senior coordinator of salary and contract administration for Major League Baseball’s commissioner’s office.
The Class AAA International League Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Pa.) Yankees named Brian Modisett ticket operations manager.
The Class AAA Pacific Coast League Oklahoma City RedHawks hired David Garson as corporate marketing manager. Garson was sales coordinator for Sporting News Radio.
The Atlanta Braves hired Bob Johnson as special assistant to the general manager.
The Los Angeles Angels hired former player Gary DiSarcina as special assistant to the general manager.
The San Diego Padres hired former MLB player Brad Ausmus as a special assistant in baseball operations.
