TSE Sports and Entertainment hired Chuck Mycoff as vice president of hospitality. Mycoff worked for rEvolution Marketing.

Helios Partners Inc. named Christopher Welton partner and chief executive officer.Welton was president and chief executive officer of Meridian Management SA.

SportsMark Management Group hired Mark Foxton as senior director of strategic marketing. Foxton was regional director of sales for Live Nation.

USM&P named Katrina Hughes regional manager. Hughes was president of Hughes, Majer and Associates.

AOL hired Neal Scarbrough as general manager and editor of sports. Scarbrough was vice president and news editor for ESPN.

CBS SportsLine promoted Alex Riethmiller to director of communications.

Gregg Winik is resigning as executive vice president of programming and executive producer for NBA Entertainment to form his own media company.

Speed hired Francois McGillicuddy as vice president of finance. McGillicuddy was vice president of planning and administration for Rainbow Sports Networks.

Spike TV promoted Brian Diamond to senior vice president of sports and specials.

John Reardon, president and chief executive officer of Tribune Broadcasting, will take over as president and chief executive officer of Tribune Entertainment for Dick Askin, who recently retired.

Newly formed Carver Racing named Joe Whitley general manager, Joe Cullen director of sales and marketing and Tim Glase public relations representative.

Real Salt Lake’s senior director of corporate partnerships, John Kimball, assumed the role of vice president of business operations.

The Chicago Fire hired Bill Sixsmith and Jon Swartz as direct marketing representatives.

Pony International hired Rollen Jones as chief financial officer. Jones was vice president and general manger for TaylorMade-Adidas Golf Europe.

Tennis Canada named Louis Borfiga vice president of high performance athlete development and Bob Brett high performance consultant.

Planet Propaganda hired Joseph Jeremy Johnstone as a motion designer.

Jet Set Sports named Peter Bambridge to the newly created position of vice president, client services.

SunTrust Bank hired Jeff Bulger as a private financial adviser for its Charlotte Motorsports Banking Division.

Right to Play named Mark Brender deputy director for Canada. Brender was a senior writer for The Hockey News.

Awards and boards
The National Turf Writers Association named Tom Law president and Tom Pedulla vice president.

The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics named Judy Sweet the recipient of the James J. Corbett Memorial Award and Jack Powers the recipient of the NACDA/NIT Athletics Director Award. Sweet is senior vice president for championships and senior women’s administrator at the NCAA, and Powers is former executive director of the National Invitation Tournament.

The United States Sports Academy named U.S. Sen. John McCain the recipient of the Theodore Roosevelt Meritorious Award.

Cheryl DeLeonardis, president of Ocean 2 Ocean Productions, received two Telly Awards for her production of the opening video presentations for the Legends for Charity Luncheons.

Warschawski received a Gold Sabre award for its work with Under Armour and was named Small Agency of the Year for the United States.

Ashworth Inc. named David Meyer and Peter Weil to its board of directors. Meyer is managing member of Knights-point Partners, and Weil is a partner at Lighthouse Retail Group.

The National Council of Youth Sports named Mike Millay to its board of directors. Millay is director of sports events for Disney’s Wide World of Sports. The National Association of Sports Commissions named John Bisignano chairman. Bisignano is manager of new business development for Disney’s Wide World of Sports.
