As the sport of snowboarding continues to grow and collect corporate interest, the future may be in the creation of independent, rider-driven teams, said Olympic gold medalist Hannah Teter (left), who appeared on a panel with silver medalist Gretchen Bleiler. Bleiler is a member of The Collection, a group of riders she helped form in 2004. Teter plans to capitalize on her Olympic momentum by launching Team Teter with her older brothers, both pros, and possibly other riders. She drew some laughs when she asked the crowd, “Who wants to be on the Hannah Teter team? Anybody? Anybody?”
