Many recalled memories of “Monday Night Football” with longtime analyst Frank Gifford. … Bill Murray watched the White Sox play a World Series game at Mickey Mantle’s on televisions installed when the restaurant was established in 1987, said owner Chris Villano. Now the restaurant is installing 24 high-definition, plasma-screen TVs, including two 61-inch sets. … Child magazine honored Joe Torre, who came from an abusive home, for his Safe at Home Foundation. … New York Mets catcher Paul Lo Duca, having a hot dog at the Madison Square Garden food court with Mets VP of media relations Jay Horwitz, said he loves basketball. Joey Harary, president of Jacques Moret Inc., in announcing a four-year deal to license Everlast apparel, said the “product placement campaign in movies like ‘Million Dollar Baby’ and ‘Cinderella Man’ and the reality show ‘The Contender’ has quite frankly amazed us.” Seth Horowitz, chairman, CEO and president of Everlast, said the deal “will allow Everlast to focus on our professional and retail boxing equipment.”
