The Los Angeles Clippers hired Ron Kobata and Greg Morrison as corporate sales account executives. Kobata was an account executive with KTLA-TV and Morrison was manager of corporate sponsorships with the San Jose Earthquakes.
The WNBA promoted Renee Brown to chief of basketball operations and player relations from vice president of player personnel and hired Wade Morehead as senior director of basketball operations. Morehead was deputy commissioner of the Continental Basketball League.
SportCoins Inc. hired C. Matt Lewis as director of sales and marketing.
MotorSports Emporium Inc. named Rhonda Keaveney chief operating officer. Keaveney was named secretary and director of the company in 2004 and will remain in that position in addition to her new role.
The Marketing Arm’s Millsport group named Kim Harper account supervisor and Alex Klein account coordinator to the agency’s XM Satellite Radio team.
Game Day Communications hired Jennifer Haas as director of media relations. Haas has worked primarily in the thoroughbred racing industry.

Charlie Archer was named director of sales and marketing for motorsports marketing company Camp and Associates Inc. Archer was a financial adviser for Consolidated Planning Inc.
Sirius Satellite Radio named Mark Kallen Western regional sales director; Stephen Scheu Midwest regional sales director; and Kevin Zoback account manager in New York. Kallen was vice president of sales for Infinity Radio Sales, Scheu was national sales manager for Infinity’s WCKG-FM in Chicago and Zoback was with Disney/ABC Inc.
Sporting News Radio promoted John Ryan to vice president/sales from general manager of KMPC-AM in Santa Monica, Calif.; named Roger Nadel vice president and general manager at KMPC-AM; and hired Don Berardini as vice president/sales.
Scott Hendrickson has been named to the newly created position of national advertising director of Sports Illustrated For Kids. Hendrickson was national sales manager for DC Comics.
Canadian network TSN is bringing back Matt Dunigan as part of its Canadian Football League studio broadcast team. Dunigan was general manager and coach of the Calgary Stampeders.
Backpacker magazine promoted Jonathan Dorn to editor-in-chief from executive editor.
The Champ Car World Series hired Mark Perrone as vice president of promoter services. Perrone was vice president and general manager of Milwaukee Mile speedway.
The California Cougars of the Major Indoor Soccer League named Mary Pat Clark director of operations and ticketing.
Ron Hershberger was elected president of U.S. Figure Skating.
