The St. Paul (Minn.) Saints of the Northern League recently donated several hats and jersey tops to St. Paul High School in St. Paul, Ark. The team did not have enough money in its budget to buy the uniforms so it called the Saints asking for assistance.
Fox Sports Net Arizona donated 100 tickets to a Arizona Diamondbacks-San Francisco Giants game to Team Arizona, which will compete in the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Dublin, Ireland, during June 20-29.

He also delivered copies of his new book, "Have Heart," a story about a little boy's courage and persistence to beat the odds.
The Minnesota Wild, in conjunction with Northwest Airlines, raised more than $167,000 through its donation program linked to the distribution of The State of Hockey, the club's official game program during the 2002-03 season. All funds raised from the program are split between the Wild's 10,000 Rinks Foundation, the governing body of youth hockey in the state and the youth hockey association.
Anaheim Angels first baseman Scott Spiezio hosted 50 relatives of solders stationed at Camp Pendleton on May 22 at Edison Field. Spiezio and his wife, Amy, purchased field level tickets for the group and provided them with food vouchers and Angels caps.
The Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation awarded $516,800 in grants to 26 nonprofit organizations around the state of Georgia. The Youth Foundation, a fund of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, has earmarked $2.2 million to be donated during three grant periods in 2003.
The Comcast "Jeff Fisher and Friends" charity softball game took place at Greer Stadium in Nashville on May 20, raising $50,000 to benefit two local charities, Mercy Ministries and the League of Deaf & Hard of Hearing. More than 25 NFL and NHL players and coaches participated in the event.
