Golf Magazine taps veteran journalist Cook as editor

Kevin Cook was named editor of Golf Magazine, it was announced by Mark Ford, president of Time4 Media.
Cook previously was executive editor of T&L Golf. As Golf Magazine's new editor, Cook, 46, will further develop and enhance the magazine's editorial content. He succeeds Jim Frank, who has left the company.
Cook has written and edited golf stories for more than 20 years. One of his stories appears in "Golf's Best Short Stories." He wrote a Golf Digest article on Mac O'Grady that won an award from the Golf Writers' Association of America in 1998. From 1998 to 2000, he was a senior editor at Sports Illustrated. Cook was also the lead columnist for Maximum Golf magazine.
Cook graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis with a bachelor of arts degree in English. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and two children.
