First on the Internet, and still going strong

The Dec. 17 edition of Street & Smith SportsBusiness Journal includes an article regarding the merger of Myteam.com and Active Networks. The article states that "the last two dot.coms serving the participatory sports market are merging."

Many of our hosted sites that utilize our services have contacted us regarding our status and solvency.

Youth Sports USA Inc. (YSUSA) remains the oldest (April 1997) Internet-based business servicing this sector. More than 306,000 teams utilize an array of services that rivals Active Networks for share of the marketplace. Prior to the merger, YSUSA had a greater number of teams, leagues and organizations dedicated to its Web solutions than Myteam.com.

Our exclusive partnerships are unmatched in the area of amateur and youth sports: YWCA of the USA, US Indoor Soccer, Dixie Youth Baseball, National Alliance of Youth Sports, Hook a Kid on Golf, National Congress of State Games, Road Race Club of America and Street Soccer Cup.

Unlike our competitors, we continue to manage a highly efficient business, offering more diverse tools complementing the grassroots aspects of day-to-day operations and monetizing those solutions in order to achieve a cash flow-positive business in 2002. We offer online registrations, online donations, maintaining Web site content, scheduling, fund raising (EZ Fundraiser.com), custom e-commerce store, merchandise, booster banners, local advertising tools, free Web sites, free hosting, free tech support, youth sports service directory and domain registrations.

In early 2002 we will be announcing an alliance, Sports USA Network. This consortium of companies offers a one-stop shopping alliance that will revolutionize the amateur and youth sports arena for teams, leagues and organizations.

Thank you for taking notice of our prowess within the sector that reaches and services the participatory sports market.
