From January through June, ESPN Sports Poll, a service of TNS Intersearch, asked avid fans of the WTA to name the biggest sponsor or advertiser of women's professional tennis. Listed at right are the results, broken down by gender, age and race. To read: 27.7 percent of fans cited Nike as the top sponsor or advertiser of the WTA. Puma has been the official tennis apparel and tennis shoe company of the tour since May 1998.
