Univision affiliate KUVN-TV in Dallas has started a weekly Spanish sports program. The 15-minute program airs at 10:15 p.m. Sundays.
Actor Jason Priestley, famous for his role on TV's "Beverly Hills 90120," and former race car driver Larry Rice have joined Bob Jenkins on the ABC/ESPN team of announcers for this year's 13-race Indy Racing Northern Light Series.
D.C. United reached a broadcast deal with Home Team Sports for the coming Major League Soccer season. It will be the fifth season that games are available on the regional cable network. HTS is scheduled to broadcast 12 of the team's 28 games.
College Sports Southeast put a spin on Discovery Channel's recent "Shark Week" promotion with a billing called "Shaq Week."
