Kickboxing organization Glory named MARSHALL ZELAZNIK CEO, and he will lead the global growth of the company. Zelaznik opened the first UFC office in the U.K. and "created a raft of events in the burgeoning sport" of MMA in Britain (London TELEGRAPH, 1/23). ... Creative communication consultancy The Playbook appointed ANDREW BAIDEN as managing director. Baiden will oversee a 10-strong team looking after clients in the sport, technology and consumer sectors. He will also work on the agency’s strategic development with Chair GAVIN MEGAW (GORKANA, 1/23). ... RICHARD KREZWICK, a long-time AEG exec, was named SVP of AEG Facilities and will lead its new N.Y. office. Krezwick will relocate from AEG's London office and will oversee East Coast operations (AEG). 

COACHES/MANAGERS: Premier League side Burnley Manager SEAN DYCHE signed a new long-term deal, extending his current contract by four-and-a-half years. The deal is worth £3.5M ($4.9M) a year and will see Dyche become the highest-paid employee at the club (London DAILY MAIL, 1/23). ... League One side Southend United appointed former player CHRIS POWELL as manager on a two-and-a-half year contract. He replaces PHIL BROWN, who was put on gardening leave on Wednesday after seven defeats in eight games (BBC, 1/23). ... League One side Milton Keynes Dons appointed former academy coach and England U16 Manager DAN MICCICHE as manager. It is his first club managerial role, as he replaces ROBBIE NEILSON (BBC, 1/23). ... PHIL NEVILLE was appointed head coach of England's women's national team through the 2021 UEFA Women’s Championship. Neville was previously an assistant coach at ManU and La Liga side Valencia (The FA).
