West Brom Files Complaint To Premier League Over 'Terrible' Fixture Congestion

EPL side West Bromwich Albion made a formal complaint to the Premier League over its "terrible" fixture congestion ahead of Tuesday's game at West Ham, according to John Percy of the London TELEGRAPH. West Brom is "furious" after being asked to play twice in three days and "pleaded for a postponement," with the game at West Ham coming just 51 hours after the visit of Arsenal on Sunday. West Brom Chair John Williams made "robust representations" to Premier League Exec Chair Richard Scudamore over the "pile-up," with the club's "frustration only increasing" as West Ham had been without a game since Dec. 26. West Ham was due to play Tottenham on Sunday but the game was "postponed for safety reasons" (TELEGRAPH, 1/1).
