DIDO HARDING and SANDY DUDGEON were appointed to the main board of The Jockey Club. JULIA BUDD, a Jockey Club steward since '12, was elected deputy senior steward, replacing ANDREW MERRIAM. Harding and Dudgeon were appointed to three-year terms form Jan. 1 (THOROUGHBRED DAILY NEWS, 12/12). ... The Gaelic Athletic Association's first female county chair was "voted out of the position in Tyrone." ROISIN JORDAN, who was elected chair in '14, was "eliminated in the first round of voting." She will be replaced by MICHAEL KERR. Jordan said that she was considering legal action over "sinister attempts to undermine my position" (BBC, 12/13).
