Netflix announced it will create a series titled "Boca Juniors: la pretemporada" ("Boca Juniors: the preseason") about the Argentine Superliga side. La Liga side Valencia announced it will publish a "series of editorials" to explain "to our true fans the truth about how [club Owner Peter Lim's] Meriton saved the club and brought it to its current successful situation." Valencia is currently in second place in La Liga. The first editorial was published on Wednesday and "speaks of fake fans and the state of the club when it was acquired by Meriton." The editorial begins by stating, "Since Meriton took control of VCF, a number of fake fans from different sectors have tried to dominate the news about VCF and have sold fake news and lies to our real fans. These fake fans are loud and are motivated by self-interests, not the interests of VCF, and certainly not the interests of the real fans who form the silent majority. Through a series of editorials, we will tell our real fans the truth about how Meriton saved this Club from the nearly irreparable damage done by previous managements" (AS, 11/8). The editorial published on the team website is available here.
