Spanish Superior Sports Council President Calls For Agreement Between FIBA, EuroLeague

Spanish Superior Sports Council (CSD) President José Ramón Lete "appealed to the responsibility of FIBA and EuroLeague execs" to seek a "stable solution that strengthens basketball and national team competitions," according to the EFE. Lete also "called for something to prevent the players from paying for the broken dishes" from the conflict. He said, "We are doing everything possible, and impossible, but we appeal to the responsibility of both parties." Lete added that is "essential" that FIBA and the EuroLeague "reach an agreement because basketball needs and deserves this" (EFE, 11/8).
