Event Notes: Aintree Racecourse To Hold 'Celebration Of Merseyside Sport'

Aintree Racecourse will be presenting a "Celebration of Merseyside Sport" for Grand National Thursday at next year's Grand National Festival. The "newly-renamed Grand National Thursday -- A Day for Champions" will celebrate the "many successes of sport across Merseyside" with a new Champions Lounge (LIVERPOOL ECHO, 10/19).

The PGA Tour will hold its first golf tournament in Korea, The CJ Cup at Nine Bridges, on Jeju Island. Somerset Jeju Shinhwa World was appointed the official hotel partner of the event. The tour boasts a field of 78 int'l golfers including Justin Thomas, Jason Day and Adam Scott (PGA Tour).
