ONE Championship announced American GARRY TONON will make his professional debut after signing an exclusive contract with the organization. His first bout with ONE has yet to be announced (ONE Championship). ... Former Sky Sports presenter KEVIN CADLE died, aged 62. The American TV presenter was "the face" of Sky Sports' coverage of the NFL "following a successful career as a basketball coach" (London TELEGRAPH, 10/16). ... Cricket fans will see "a new face behind the wheel of the heavy roller" at the Brisbane Cricket Ground this summer, with DAVID SANDURSKI appointed its new head curator. Sandurski will take over from grounds manager KEVIN MITCHELL JR., who will finish his 27-year tenure following the opening Test of the Ashes series at The Gabba from Nov. 23-27. Sandurski was the head cricket curator at the Melbourne Cricket Ground for the past five years (SYDNEY MORNING HERALD, 10/16).

NEUTRAL LAND: Former Formula 1 CEO BERNIE ECCLESTONE is "moving further away from the sport he ruled for decades by relocating to Switzerland." The Briton, who will be 87 this month, was "ousted in January after U.S.-based Liberty Media took control." Ecclestone: "It's something I had agreed to do 20 years ago, or more: to take Formula One (Management) to Switzerland. Trouble is I couldn't get all the guys to come and live there. ... I don't have to do anything particular with the company now so I can more or less do what I want" (EUROSPORT, 10/16).
