Gloucester Rugby Receives 'Signficant Increase' As Mitsubishi Extends Sponsorship

Premiership Rugby side Gloucester extended its partnership with Mitsubishi Motors, which will see the club receive a "significant increase" on the current deal, according to Robert Isles of GLOUCESTERSHIRE LIVE. The car manufacturer's name and logo have been featured on the front of the team's shirts since the '15-16 season. The brand agreed to a new "lucrative" three-year deal from '18. Gloucester Chair & Owner Martin St. Quinton confirmed it will be "one of the biggest sponsorship deals in the Premiership." He said, "It's a significant increase on the current contract and it's a very important part of our overall sponsorship. Our shirt sponsorship is the biggest piece of inventory we have and we're delighted" (GLOUCESTERSHIRE LIVE, 9/13).
