Metro Station Next To Atlético Madrid's New Stadium To Open Thursday

After "several months of projects, remodeling and tests," the metro station next to Atlético Madrid's Estadio Wanda Metropolitano "will be presented on Thursday," according to Isaac Suárez of MARCA. Thousands of fans "will use the station to attend Atlético Madrid games." The club's logo will be featured throughout the station (MARCA, 9/6). In Madrid, Jorge García reported Madrid's Municipal Transportation Business (EMT) announced that it will "offer special coverage for days when the stadium is hosting games." This will include "a special line that will connect the Canillejas station to the stadium" (AS, 9/6).
