The Brazilian scored twice as PSG came from behind to beat Toulouse 6-2. Speaking after the match, Neymar decided to "round on his former employers." He said, "I don't have anything to say to the Barcelona board. Well, actually I have something to say -- that I am disappointed with them" (London TELEGRAPH, 8/21). ... W-League side Adelaide United unveiled Matildas midfielder ALEX CHIDIAC as its first signing for the upcoming season. Chidiac, who returned to the club last season following a stint with Melbourne City, "inked a new one-year contract with her hometown club" (THE ADVERTISER, 8/21). ...Gabba curator KEVIN MITCHELL, who has prepared pitches at the Australian cricket venue for over 30 years, said that he will "step down after the series-opening Ashes test." The Brisbane venue has "long been acclaimed for the quality of its pitches" (REUTERS, 8/21). ... Spanish swimmer FERNANDO ÁLVAREZ "paid an incredible personal tribute to the victims of the Barcelona terror attack, right at the start of his race." Instead of diving in with the rest of his competitors, Álvarez "stood on the blocks and waited for one minute before taking to the pool." He was competing in the Masters World Championship in Budapest and "felt there should have been an official moment of reflection" to honor the 15 people killed in a terrorist attack in Barcelona last Thursday (London DAILY MAIL, 8/21).
