Event Notes: CAF Inspection Mission To 2019 Cup Of Nations Host Cameroon Postponed

An inspection mission to 2019 Africa Cup of Nations host Cameroon has been postponed by the Confederation of African Football. The CAF-appointed team was scheduled to begin the eight-day inspection on Sunday. CAF confirmed the visit would "take place at a later date following the withdrawal of audit firm" PricewaterhouseCoopers. No reason has been given for PWC's withdrawal (BBC, 8/19).

Wales will host the Netball Europe Open Championships in Cardiff in October as part of its preparation for the Commonwealth Games. England, Wales and Scotland are in the same group at the 2018 Gold Coast event (BBC, 8/17).
