Australian Football League side Carlton Dir of Coaching NEIL CRAIG is leaving the AFL industry at the end of the season "after more than 40 years in the game." The former Adelaide coach, who has also worked at Melbourne and Essendon, told Carlton players of his decision on Monday, "citing lifestyle demands" (THE AGE, 8/14). ... Former Scottish Premiership side Motherwell and Scotland footballer STEPHEN MCMANUS "retired from playing to take up a coaching role at Motherwell's youth academy" (BBC, 8/14).
