Auckland SuperSprint Renews Naming Rights Deal With Building Supplier ITM

The Auckland SuperSprint announced building supplier ITM will remain the naming rights partner of the event for the next three years "despite the city having no extension to continue as host beyond this year," according to the NEW ZEALAND HERALD. Supercars and Auckland Council's events arm "continue to have dialogue" around a contract extension, and it is expected a new deal "will now come later this month" before the calendar is due to be released. This year's Auckland SuperSprint Supercars event, to be held at Pukekohe Park Raceway from Nov. 3-5, was launched in Auckland on Tuesday. ITM Marketing Manager Chris Boyle said that the partnership with the event "had grown since ITM first secured naming rights" to become a feature of the company's brand portfolio. Supercars "are hoping an extension to continue at Pukekohe beyond this year is not far away" (NZ HERALD, 8/8).
