Univision promoted CARLOS DESCHAPELLES to EVP of sports sales (Univision) ... Bayern Munich announced Technical Dir MICHAEL RESCHKE is leaving to join Stuttgart, which confirmed that Reschke would “officially take over his new role as sporting director at the end of August.” His appointment follows the sacking of JAN SCHINDELMEISER as technical director on Friday (ESPN.com, 8/5).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Bulgarian football club Levski Sofia appointed former Serie A side Lazio Manager DELIO ROSSI as its head coach "without giving any details about the length or terms of the contract." Rossi replaced NIKOLAY MITOV (REUTERS, 8/4). ... Samoan rugby was “rocked” by the resignation of head coach ALAMA IEREMIA. The former All Black, who was appointed head coach in late ’15 after a stint as Samoa Rugby’s high performance director, had been contracted through the 2019 World Cup. But Samoa has struggled in ’17 after a "mediocre" ’16 (NEW ZEALAND HERALD, 8/5).
