Marketplace Roundup: Exness Expands Real Madrid Sponsorship With Ronaldo Deal

Forex broker Exness "inked a follow up" to its deal with Real Madrid announced earlier this week. The company added Cristiano Ronaldo to "its list of sports sponsorships." The deals with Real Madrid and Ronaldo are "looking to be at the start of a new effort by the firm to attract new clients." Plus500 is sponsoring the "other major club" in the Spanish capital, Atlético Madrid (FINANCE MAGNATES, 8/2).

League Championship side Sunderland announced Coral as the club's official betting partner for the '17-18 season. Coral will "provide the Stadium of Light with a match day betting service for every league and cup game" throughout the season. The partnership will also give Coral a presence on Sunderland's website and social media channels (SBC NEWS, 8/2).

Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018 named AEG its official licensee of merchandise. The tournament will be held at San Francisco's AT&T Park from July 20-22 next year (World Rugby). 

The Mumbai Marathon announced the Tata Group will be its title sponsor for 10 years from '18. Tata replaces Standard Chartered and the race will be called the Tata Mumbai Marathon (Tata Group). 

Singtel Media has "brought on board" sponsors for its coverage of the '17-18 Premier League season. OPPO, Income and Chang Beer, will head into the new season as presenting sponsor, main sponsor and sponsor, respectively, "reaching out to Singtel TV’s large audience via targeted advertising and media platforms" (MARKETING INTERACTIVE, 8/2).

Serie A side Benevento Calcio entered a one-year partnership with Italian pasta brand Molisana. The Campobasso-based company will be Benevento’s front-of-shirt sponsor for its first season in Italy's top flight. Molisana will also have a brand presence at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito (SOCCEREX, 8/2).

Russian Premier League football side Spartak Moscow is the "latest sports team to enter into a partnership with ride-sharing company Uber." During the '17-18 season, fans "will be able to use Uber to travel to and from Spartak matches at the team’s Otkrytiye Arena home ground" (THE STADIUM BUSINESS, 8/2).

Mobile communications company Kika Tech announced it will be the exclusive provider of the Real Madrid Kika Keyboard. Kika will offer fans a collection of sticker packs and customized keyboard themes (Kika Tech). 

The German FA (DFB) renewed its partnership with software corporation SAP. The three-year extension will see the company "remain a premium partner" of the DFB until the end of '20. SAP’s logo will be "given exposure during national team press conferences, training sessions and throughout hospitality areas at games" (SOCCEREX, 8/2).
