Marketplace Roundup: RLWC2017, Road Tech Marine Agree To Partnership

Rugby League World Cup 2017 announced Australian retailer Road Tech Marine as an official partner. The company will receive brand integration on all goal and corner post pads, a logo on the referees' sleeves and in-stadia presence via LED signage. Road Tech Marine will conduct targeted media along with in-store and online promotion of the tournament (RLWC2017).

Serie A side Genoa extended its commercial agreement with energy provider Eviva. The company will "continue in its role as Genoa's front-of-shirt sponsor" for a second consecutive season. Eviva will also have a "strong brand presence" at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. The financial terms of the deal have not been released (SOCCEREX, 7/21).

The All England Lawn Tennis Club extended its partnership with bottled water brand evian for another five years. Evian will remain the official bottled water supplier of Wimbledon until at least '22 (Wimbledon).

Tour de France owner Amaury Sport Organisation renewed its contract with cycling company Mavic through the '22 race. Mavic's "trademark yellow cars and motos provide neutral support at the race" (BICYCLE RETAILER, 7/19).
