ALI FAHOUR stood down from his job as Australian Football League diversity manager after being suspended for 14 matches. Fahour's suspension, handed down after a "marathon tribunal hearing" at Northern Football League’s HQ, "automatically triggered a life ban" (HERALD SUN, 7/5). ... Athlete publishing company Unscriptd announced ANTHONY HOGG as CRO for the EMEA region, "with a remit to grow revenue through its athlete collaborations and technology platform." The former broadcast exec has a "track record in building high performance commercial teams to deliver revenue growth" (SPORT INDUSTRY GROUP, 7/5). ... Deloitte appointed two partners and six directors to its Yorkshire teams. CMO ANNABEL RAKE has been promoted to partner, having been with the firm for 12 years. The second partner promotion is RICHARD EIGHTEEN. Deloitte also promoted the following to directors: JULIE CAMPBELL, HELEN RYLANDS, RICHARD MCGINN, PETER HEMPSALL, JONNY LEES and RICHARD LOFTHOUSE (THE BUSINESS DESK, 7/3). ... FIBA’s regional office in the Americas named CARLOS ALVES as its exec director. Alves worked for Nike from '10-15. Most recently, he served as an independent brand and marketing consultant for Chelsea and other companies. He fills the vacancy left following ALBERTO GARCIA’s retirement (FIBA).

: Argentine first division side Huracán sacked coach JUAN MANUEL AZCONZÁBAL. The club's board of directors said that the decision "was based on results" (CLARÍN, 7/4). ... Six months after being hired to coach Brasileiro side São Paulo, former player ROGÉRIO CENI "presented his formal resignation on Monday after a string of bad results." The club sits in 17th place, in the relegation zone with 11 points from three wins and two draws in 11 matches (ESPN.com, 7/4). ... Brasileiro side Chapecoense on Tuesday sacked coach VÁGNER MANCINI "following a poor run of results." Mancini took the job after 19 Chapecoense players and coach CAIO JÚNIOR died in a plane crash that claimed 71 lives in Colombia last November. Assistant coach EMERSON CRIS will "take over as coach on an interim basis" (XINHUA, 7/5). ... J. League side Sanfrecce Hiroshima Manager HAJIME MORIYASU resigned to “take responsibility for his side’s poor performance this season.” Moriyasu, 48, offered to step down after Hiroshima’s 4-3 away defeat to Urawa Reds on Saturday and the club “could not persuade him to stay.” Assistant coach AKINOBU YOKOUCHI will act as caretaker (KYODO, 7/4).
