IOC Evaluation Commission To Publish Final Report Comparing L.A., Paris 2024

The IOC Evaluation Commission will publish its final report comparing LA 2024 and Paris 2024 on Wednesday, the result of detailed site visits in May. The document is expected to portray the cities as virtually tied on the technical merits of their bids, paving the way for the full IOC to award both cities the Games, with one going in '24 and another waiting for four years. The full body will meet in Lausanne, Switzerland, next Tuesday to formally approve the dual-award concept, with a decision coming later this summer on the order.
