Reigning ACB Champion Valencia To Increase Budget For '17-18 By 10-15%

Spanish Basketball League (ACB) club Valencia, "which has already renewed several players' contracts and made one signing since winning the '16-17 championship," announced its budget for '17-18 will increase by 10-15%, according to Julián Burgos of AS. The club's '16-17 budget was €12.8M, and next year's will be between €14M ($15.9M) and €15M ($17M), the highest since '09. Valencia Owner Juan Roig "will contribute 70% of the budget." The club also presented its season ticket campaign for next season, with prices ranging from €115 ($131) for the youth section to €145 ($165) for the general public section (AS, 6/28).
