Jockey Club Racecourses Group Managing Dir PAUL FISHER will be promoted to CEO, effective July 1. Fisher has helped Jockey Club Racecourses achieve eight consecutive years of growth (Jockey Club). ... GÉRARD LINARD was elected as the new president of the Belgian FA (KBVB). The 74-year-old succeeds FRANÇOIS DE KEERSMAECKER, who "stepped down" after 11 years. Linard has been given a two-year mandate, and is the 11th president in the organization's history. Linard was a member of the Belgian FA's exec committee from '09, and was interim general secretary between Feb. '15 and Oct. '16 (UEFA). ... Former League Championship side Nottingham Forest and Netherlands midfielder JOHNNY METGOD rejoined the club as a director. The 59-year-old played more than 100 games for Notts during a three-year spell from '84. Metgod moved into coaching in '94 (BBC, 6/26). 

COACHES/MANAGERS: Premier League side Crystal Palace confirmed the appointment of FRANK DE BOER as manager. The 47-year-old Dutchman signed a three-year deal at Selhurst Park to become the full-time successor to SAM ALLARDYCE. The former England manager won nine of his 24 Premier League games to "secure Palace's top flight status" after succeeding ALAN PARDEW last December, before resigning last month (London EVENING STANDARD, 6/26). ... Israeli basketball side Maccabi Tel Aviv brought NEVEN SPAHIJA back to EuroLeague as the team's new head coach for the next two seasons. Spahija, 54, previously coached Maccabi during the '06-07 season. He last coached in the EuroLeague in the '11-12 season with Fenerbahçe Istanbul (EuroLeague).
