Dutch int'l badminton player KOEN RIDDER has been named chair of the Badminton World Federation Athletes' Commission. Ridder replaces Belgian YUHAN TAN, whose four-year term on the commission ended in May. German MARC ZWIEBLER is the new vice-chair (BWF). ... BERND SCHUSKY has been named the head of brand communications at the German Football League (DFL). The 38-year-old German will report directly to Dir of Corporate & Brand Communications CHRISTIAN PFENNIG. Schusky joins the DFL from FIFA, where he was the senior manager of communications (SOCCEREX, 6/22). ... The Premiership rugby side Bath Rugby Foundation appointed LYNNE FERNQUEST as its first CEO. Her connection with the city began six years ago as a director at Bath News & Media and editor of the Bath Chronicle. Fernquest also served on the board of the Bath Business Improvement District (RUNNING RUGBY, 6/21).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Former Paris St. Germain Manager PAUL LE GUEN has been appointed as the head coach of Turkish side Bursaspor, according to Canal+. Le Guen is understood to have signed a two-year contract with an option for a further year (GET FRENCH FOOTBALL NEWS, 6/21). ... Colombian football side Atlético Nacional Manager REINALDO RUEDA "is standing down after two highly successful years at the helm" of the club and will be replaced by Spaniard JUAN MANUEL LILLO. Rueda is "one of the most successful Colombian coaches of all time" and led Atlético to the Copa Libertadores title in '16 (REUTERS, 6/21). ... JOAN FRANCESC FERRER was hired by Spanish second division side Huesca, replacing ANQUELA (AS, 6/22).
