CCTV Confirmed As Int'l Champions Cup Partner In Mainland China

Relevent Sports, Catalyst Media Group and CCTV Sports & Entertainment Company Ltd. announced a multi-year partnership with China Central TV as the official TV broadcasting partner of the Int'l Champions Cup in Mainland China. The four-year deal with immediate effect will enable CCTV to broadcast all ICC matches exclusively on TV in Mainland China on CCTV-5 and/or CCTV-5+. CCTV will also have the opportunity to transmit ICC matches on its digital platforms on a non-exclusive basis. The ICC was created by Relevent and developed in the Asia-Pacific region by sister company Catalyst. In the third consecutive year of the event being held in China, European clubs AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Inter Milan and Olympique Lyonnais will clash in four contests in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Nanjing in July. Catalyst and CCTVSE will promote the tournament in China, including various initiatives to bring fans closer to the players and clubs. The partnership will ensure ICC is accessible to over 1 billion people in Mainland China (ICC).
