Marketplace Roundup: Bolton Wanderers, Betfred Agree To Two-Year Deal

League One side Bolton Wanderers confirmed a "lucrative" two-year sponsorship deal with gambling firm BetFred. The company will have its "logo emblazoned on the front of the club’s shirt for the next two seasons and will also take up additional branding at the Macron Stadium." BetFred replaces online casino Spin and Win -- with the new deal worth "significantly more," according to sources at the club (BOLTON NEWS, 6/12).

Ligue 1 side Girondins de Bordeaux confirmed an extension to its partnership with online poker site Winamax. The two-year deal will see the company continue as the shorts sponsor of the side for league matches, while it has added a front-of-shirt sponsorship for European fixtures (SOCCEREX, 6/12).

Scottish Premiership side Celtic unveiled a new away kit for the '17-18 campaign "celebrating the Lisbon Lions." The shirt features different shades of green hoops and "pays tribute to the 1967 European Cup winners with a 50th anniversary gold crest" (HERALD SCOTLAND, 6/12).

U.K. ultramarathon Race to the Stones extended its partnership with electronics retailer Dixons Carphone with a new deal that will see the company "co-create an exclusive content series around the event." The agreement sees Dixons Carphone sponsor the 100km race for a fourth year and includes a partnership with fitness platform LDN Muscle (THE DRUM, 6/12).

The Drone Racing League "attracted a substantial partner" in Amazon, which will use the league's "unique and high-octane appeal" to promote its Jeremy Clarkson vehicle, the Grand Tour. Amazon Prime Video's flagship show will integrate with the 2017 World Championship Race in London on Tuesday (THE DRUM, 6/12).
