Atlético Reportedly Signs Telefónica To Provide Wi-Fi At Wanda Metropolitano Stadium

Atlético Madrid finalized an agreement with Telefónica, which will provide wireless Internet services at the Wanda Metropolitano, according to Luis Aznar of MARCA. Telefónica will provide Internet services "from the offices in the stadium to the press box and even one to serve supporters." Wi-Fi "will be on offer for everybody in attendance" at Atlético matches. The telecom previously reached deals with Real Madrid and Barcelona. Atlético already partnered with LG, which will supply more than 900 TVs at the ground, and Philips, which will take charge of lighting. The agreement with Telefónica "has not yet been officially announced, though all signs are suggesting" that the talks between the parties are at an "extremely advanced stage and will be revealed in the coming days" (MARCA, 6/6).
