MMA Fighter Conor McGregor Signs Endorsement Deal With Beats By Dre

Beats by Dre added MMA fighter Conor McGregor to its "long list of top athletes" after the UFC lightweight champion agreed to an endorsement deal with the company, according to Tony Connelly of THE DRUM. McGregor announced the partnership on Instagram and Facebook. Last year, he ranked 11th on SportsPro's annual list of the world’s 50 most marketable athletes and was "most recently named one of the 100 most influential people" in '17 by Time magazine. His list of sponsors currently includes Monster Energy, Reebok and Bud Light. The move reflects Beats' efforts to "propel itself deeper into popular culture by partnering with globally renowned athletes across an array of sports for its marketing activations." The company has also worked with Anthony Joshua, Serena Williams, Neymar, LeBron James and Richie McCaw (THE DRUM, 5/28).
