The Hungarian Olympic Committee (MOB) elected former fencer KRISZTIÁN KULCSÁR its new president at its congress. Kulcsár was elected in the second round of the vote with 108 MOB delegates supporting him ahead of incumbent ZSOLT BORKAI, who has been at the helm of the committee since '10 (HUNGARY TODAY, 5/3). ... Production company Milkmoney appointed DARREN COLLINS as the London office's head of production. Collins will lead the London team across all productions, including social, long-form content and VR. The move also sees CARRIE WILLIAMS promoted to head of production and ETHAN MCLEAN to head of creative (Milkmoney). ... League Two side Hartlepool United Chair GARY COXALL resigned, saying continuing in the role "would divide the club." CEO PAM DUXBURY will take over Coxall's duties while continuing in her current role (BBC, 5/2). ... Octagon will expand its German management team with the addition of KARSTEN PETRY. Currently the managing director at akzio!, 41-year-old Petry will join Octagon Germany and lead the teams in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich, effective Aug. 1. Octagon Germany GM MARC BRIX will continue to serve as a strategic advisor for the board and key accounts, and will now focus primarily on new ventures with his company, Marc Brix Sports Group (Octagon). ... MP & Silva announced the appointment of ALEX WEE as director, brand partnerships (Asia Pacific) on Tuesday. Wee will oversee the development and exploitation of non-media content commercial rights, including the delivery of sponsorship-led revenue (MP & Silva). ... ITV CEO ADAM CROZIER is "stepping down after seven years at the helm" of the U.K.'s "biggest free-to-air commercial broadcaster." Crozier, who led a "turnaround" at ITV after the recession and "successfully reduced the broadcaster's reliance on advertising revenue by building up its production arm," will leave at the end of June to pursue a "portfolio of roles at private and publicly listed companies." ITV Finance Dir IAN GRIFFITHS will "step up" to a new combined role of COO and finance chief and "run the company for an interim period," while Chair PETER BAZALGETTE will become exec chair during that time (London GUARDIAN, 5/3). ... The China Open, a WTA and ATP tournament, named former head of Octagon Tennis THOMAS ROSS tournament director. Ross will remain based in California, but will travel to China regularly. The Beijing-based event is owned by China Open Promotions Ltd. (Daniel Kaplan, Staff Writer). ... Irish National Football League side Dublin announced Manager JIM GAVIN agreed to a two-year extension to "remain in charge of the team" until after the '19 championship. Gavin, who took over after the '12 season for PAT GILROY, won three All-Ireland titles in his first four years in charge and is "aiming to complete a three in-a-row with Dublin" in '16 (IRISH INDEPENDENT, 5/3).
