Marketplace Roundup: AFL Side West Coast Eagles, AGL Ltd. Agree To Partnership

Australian Football League side West Coast Eagles announced a partnership with energy company AGL Ltd. The two-year premier partnership includes sponsorship of the players' shorts and digital signage at Domain Stadium (West Coast Eagles).

Liverpool looks to be "paying homage" to its '95-96 change shirt with next season's away kit. A leaked image of the '17-18 away jersey features a quarter design "similar to the green and white classic it is inspired by." But the new version is "predominantly white" with a black collar and black logos on the front (THE SUN, 5/1).

Special Olympics and MetLife Foundation, the philanthropic arm of global insurer MetLife, announced a $1.5M, three-year int'l partnership to expand Special Olympics Young Athletes across EMEA. SOYA is an inclusive sport and play program for children, aged 2-7, with and without intellectual disabilities (Special Olympics).

AFL side Essendon agreed to a partnership with Australian craft brewer Colonial Brewing Company. CBC was established in '04 and is now the official beer and cider partner of the club for the '17 season (Essendon).

Cricket Ireland announced Turkish Airlines as the new headline sponsor of the men's national team. The partnership is initially for one year, with the option to extend for a further two years into '20 (Cricket Ireland).
