Durham CCC Renews Port Of Tyne Shirt Sponsorship Through '19

Durham County Cricket Club announced long-standing sponsor Port of Tyne extended its shirt sponsorship with the club. Port of Tyne will remain the club's One-Day Cup shirt sponsor through '19 (Durham CCC). BDAILY's Billy Wood reported Durham is "currently plying its trade" in the second division of the County Championship after financial help from the England & Wales Cricket Board to clear its debt "saw the club relegated and receive a 48-point penalty." However, the club "has moved to retain key sponsorship deals this year, having also announced an extension" to its three-year deal with law firm Muckle last week (BDAILY, 4/26).
