Event Notes: Kickoff Time And Ticket Details Unveiled For 2017 FA Cup Final

The kickoff and ticket allocation details for the 2017 FA Cup final have been unveiled -- and there is "no change from the previous year's edition." The FA confirmed via its website that the final will kick off at 5:30pm on May 27 and will be broadcast in the U.K. on BBC One and BT Sport 2. It also confirmed "28,000 seats will be made available to fans of each team," the same as was given to supporters of ManU and Crystal Palace last season (London DAILY MAIL, 4/25).

Aberdeen is "set to demand half of Hampden" for its Scottish Cup final showdown with Celtic. It is understood Aberdeen will make its case to the Scottish FA for a "50-50 split of tickets," with the club "expecting to bring more than 20,000 fans" on May 27. There is "set to be a stampede for the showpiece," with Celtic targeting a treble and Aberdeen "looking to lift the trophy for the first time in 27 years" (Scotland DAILY RECORD, 4/25).

Wuhan, China, will be home to the Badminton Asia Championships (individual) until '20. Wuhan first hosted the flagship tournament in '15 on a two-year deal that was extended for another year for this year's championships (Badminton Asia).
