Former England cricketer ISA GUHA has become the "first woman to be appointed to the board of the Professional Cricketers' Association." The 31-year-old becomes a non-exec director of the players' union. Guha was a Women's World Cup, World Twenty20 and Ashes winner. After retiring in in '12, she "pursued a career in broadcasting, including for the BBC's Test Match Special" (BBC, 4/11). ... JEFFREY ORRIDGE and the Canadian Football League agreed to part ways, effective June 30. The former exec director of CBC Sports became the 13th commissioner in CFL history in March '15. Before joining the CFL, Orridge "negotiated the media rights to several Olympic Games for the CBC," and was "at the helm" when the CBC lost control of its NHL rights to Rogers in '14 (CBC, 4/12). ... London Sport CEO PETER FITZBOYDON announced his decision to stand down in order to take up a new role as managing director with Parkwood Leisure. Fitzboydon will leave London Sport in the coming months (London Sport). ... League Two side Grimsby Town appointed RUSSELL SLADE as its manager for a second time. The 56-year-old replaced MARCUS BIGNOT, who was sacked on Monday "having spent just five months in charge" (BBC, 4/12).
