Tough Mudder To Showcase British Olympians In Documentary Series

Tough Mudder "recruited an all-star team of British Olympians to compete in its global events" for a new documentary series that will build on the brand's media partnership with Sky, according to Tony Connelly of THE DRUM. The six-part "Mission Mudder" series will air on Sky Sports Mix this summer and will follow six British Olympians including double-Olympic Taekwondo Gold Medalist Jade Jones, London 2012 track cyclist Jess Varnish and snowboarder Aimee Fuller. The program will cover the athletes' attempts to "take on the cycle of Tough Mudder events" in the U.S. and U.K. while "exploring their personal stories, physical and mental preparations and the trials of working together to conquer the obstacles." It will cover the Tough Mudder Half L.A., Tough Mudder Full London West and Europe's Toughest Mudder on May 13-14 (THE DRUM, 4/12).
