The French Swimming Federation (FFN) elected GILLES SEZIONALE president at its general assembly. Sezionale beat FRANCIS LUYCE, who had held the position for 24 years (FFN). ... London Irish CEO and former club captain BOB CASEY "is to leave the club at the end of the season." Casey, 38, had a 10-year playing career with the Exiles before retiring in '12. He rejoined the club as its operations director in '14 before becoming CEO in '15 (BBC, 3/31). ... Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach extended Sporting Dir MAX EBERL's contract. Eberl had been "linked with league rivals Bayern Munich," which is "on the hunt for a sporting director." The extension runs through June '22 (XINHUA, 4/1). ... The coach of Thailand's national football team "shocked fans by resigning from his post after leading the War Elephants through a disappointing 2018 World Cup bid." Former player KIATISAK SENAMUANG, who has coached the team since '14, announced the move on his Instagram account Friday (AFP, 4/1).
