EPL Side Crystal Palace Fans Inadvertently Vandalize Own Team's Bus

Crystal Palace fans vandalized their own team's bus thinking it belong to Middlesbrough.
EPL side Crystal Palace supporters "inadvertently" vandalized their own team's bus "thinking it belonged to Middlesbrough prior to the Premier League clash between the relegation rivals on Saturday," according to Shravanth Vijayakumar of REUTERS. The coach, which was parked at a hotel near Selhurst Park, was reportedly "daubed with the club's name 'Crystal Palace FC' in red, white and blue paint across the sides and rear of the vehicle." Palace, which still used the vehicle despite the damage, confirmed on Sunday that the team's coach was vandalized and "police had been notified." The team's assistant head groundsman, Dean Waters, "condemned the vandals and revealed their error." Waters tweeted, "40,000 pounds worth of damage on our coach thinking it was the Boro coach. Nice one! #cpfc" (REUTERS, 2/27).
