Netball Australia Partners With QMS-Owned Out & About Media & Marketing

Outdoor media company QMS confirmed a five-year deal with Netball Australia through its new acquisition, Out & About Media & Marketing, according to Zoe Samios of MUMBRELLA. The news comes "just months after" QMS announced it was looking to spend A$22.4M in digital sport outdoor media and technology assets, acquiring an 80% stake in OAMM as part of the process. QMS "also acquired a 50% stake in Live Docklands, one of the rights holders to digital advertising at Etihad Football Stadium," and a 20% acquisition of mobile app developer Sportsmate Australia. As part of the deal, QMS will be the "official in-stadium digital signage partner for Netball Australia." QMS will have exclusive rights to all in-stadium media activity for the Super Netball series, "half of which will be televised on Nine and will be live streamed through Telstra" (MUMBRELLA, 2/21).
