British Cycling Chair BOB HOWDEN "has stepped down but will remain president." Howden will be replaced by JONATHAN BROWNING, "who was elected by the British Cycling board. Howden, who was re-elected in December, "denied that the move is related" to the publication of the UK Sport independent investigation into accusations of "bullying," saying that the appointment of former Jaguar Cars Managing Dir Browning was an "important step" in updating the organization (REUTERS, 2/9). ... ESPN Senior VP/Global Research & Analytics ARTIE BULGRIN will "step down from his post" in May. He said that he "might remain available to the company as a consultant, but that was as yet undetermined." Bulgrin, who joined ESPN in '96, "has over the years developed a reputation for calling for new methodologies for mapping out viewership of content." In recent years, he focused on "out of home" viewership and "cross-platform measurement." ESPN President JOHN SKIPPER said that the network "will not announce a successor immediately" (VARIETY, 2/8). ... Mylan World TeamTennis promoted Dir of Digital Media & Operations MATT FITZGERALD to VP/digital and manager of player operations (WTT).
