The Asian Football Confederation announced the appointment of WILHELMUS KOEVERMANS as its new deputy technical director. The Dutchman started his role on Thursday. Prior to his appointment, Koevermans was the head tutor for the pro-license coaching courses at the Netherlands FA (KNVB). Most recently, he served as the Indian national team coach from '12-14 (AFC). ... TSE Consulting announced the appointment of a new senior consultant and partner. RONNIE HANSEN joined the company and senior team this month. His base will be in Copenhagen and Odense, Denmark. Hansen, who is a native of Denmark, has experience and knowledge in high-profile event management. In the first phase of his work with TSE, Hansen will be focused on delivering large esport projects, as well as continued work with the City of Odense (TSE Consulting). ... Barcelona said in a statement that GUILLEM GRAELL will in the next few weeks become the club's new director of Marca FCB (Brand Barcelona), a new department. Graell is currently the global director of marketing & communication at winery Codormiu Raventós. At Barcelona, he will be responsible for defining and supervising all Brand Barcelona operations and strategy (AS, 2/7).

: RICARDO SA PINTO was named manager of Superleague Greece side Atromitos. The former Portuguese int’l replaces GEORGIOS KORAKAKIS, who was fired after the club’s loss to Panaitolikos on Saturday. Sa Pinto will head the team until the end of the season, “with an option for an additional year” (L’ÉQUIPE, 2/6). ... Indonesian side Bali United appointed HANS PETER SCHALLER as its new head coach to replace INDRA SJAFRI, who recently left the team to coach Indonesia's U19 team. Schaller assisted ALFRED RIEDL in coaching Indonesia's national team in the ASEAN Football Federation Cup in December. The Austrian coach also managed Laos' national team in '11 and Persiba Balikpapan in '12 (JAKARTA GLOBE, 2/7). ... Liga MX side Morelia sacked coach PABLO MARINI. The club is currently in 13th place in Liga MX (LA AFICIÓN, 2/6). ... JORGE DUEÑAS “is officially no longer the coach” of Spain’s national women’s handball team. The Spanish Handball Federation (RFEBM) confirmed the news on Tuesday. Dueñas had been in the role since ’07 (MUNDO DEPORTIVO, 2/7). ... AVRAM GRANT "ended his time as Ghana coach after more than two years in charge of the Black Stars." The Israeli's contract is to expire shortly and at the Africa Cup of Nations he said that "there would be no renewal" (BBC, 2/7).
