Media Notes: Wales' Euro 2016 Documentary Screenings Sell Out In England

The movie that documents Wales' "historic passage" to the Euro 2016 semifinal "has become so popular screenings are selling out -- in England." Whether the demand "across the bridge is from admiring (and frustrated) English football fans is unclear," but the film's director revealed that "some showings in London, as well as Wales, are sold-out." Filmmaker Jonny Owen said that he has been "overwhelmed" by the response. Owen said, "It's unbelievable that millions of people have seen it in just a few days. I've never known or been involved in anything like it in my life to be honest" (WALES ONLINE, 2/6).
