Eurosport, World Archery Agree To Broadcast Rights Deal Through '20

Eurosport has secured an agreement with World Archery to broadcast all of the governing body's major int'l competitions until '20. The Pan-European partnership will again see Eurosport broadcast all Archery World Cup events, including the Archery World Cup Final and World Archery Championships, across traditional and digital platforms, and marks a continuation of the collaboration that has been in place since '14. Broadcast coverage will include every major event in the lead up to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, plus comprehensive highlights shows on all Eurosport screens, including Eurosport Player and in the AsiaPacific region via the Eurosport 1 channel. In addition, Eurosport will work closely with World Archery to promote the sport and help activate the governing body's commercial partnerships through a dedicated promotional platform, comprising both broadcast and digital activations (Eurosport).

CHASING HISTORY
: American skier Lindsey Vonn will give fans unprecedented access to her life in Chasing History -- a new docu-series on Eurosport which debuts on Feb. 5. The opening episodes capture the agony of Vonn's training crash on Copper Mountain in November, which resulted in a severely fractured humerus bone in her right arm. Viewers will see Vonn's recovery from surgery, rehabilitation and return to the slopes with exclusive footage bringing fans closer to the winter sports athlete than ever before (Eurosport).
