Marketplace Roundup: Q-Railing Extends Partnership With Stoke City Until '19-20 Season

Q-Railing has extended its partnership with Premier League side Stoke City for three more years. Q-Railing will continue its sponsorship of the West Stand at the bet365 Stadium until at least the end of the '19-20 season. Although based in Emmerich am Rhein in Germany, Q-Railing has strong ties with Stoke-on-Trent and work is currently ongoing to build a new U.K. base in the Tunstall area of the city (Stoke City). 

The Japan FA agreed to a partnership deal with the University of Tokyo on Friday to "cooperate in the fields of sports medicine and science to help enhance the physical ability of top players." The work will be "centered around the new base for advanced scientific research at the university set up in May, with artificial intelligence and augmented reality expected to provide means to develop new training methods in the future" (KYODO, 12/16).

German 3rd League football club FC Magdeburg has extended its partnership with senior living company Humanas. As the club's exclusive economic partner, Humanas will receive ad space on LED boards in camera view. Humanas signed a two-year extension with the team until '18 (FC Magdeburg).
