Argentine Football Exec Marcelo Tinelli Confirms Fútbol Para Todos To End This Month

Argentine first division side San Lorenzo VP Marcelo Tinelli confirmed that the Fútbol Para Todos program "will end at the end of this year," according to DYN. He also "increased the uncertainty around the future of Argentine football TV rights starting in '17 when he said that there has been no agreement with broadcasters" because their offer was too low. Tinelli also revealed that a meeting will take place on Thursday to define "the terms of the rescission of the contract" between the government and the Argentine FA, which dates back to '09. He added that it is possible that the AFA "could manage the broadcasts starting in '17 and have a tender in the next three months" (DYN, 12/14).
